    This major lays stress on the mutual penetration among Biotechnology, Food Engineering and Light Chemical Engineering, especially the combination of Bioengineering and Flavor Technology. We are tying to bring up the advanced applied technical talents that have deep foundation, broad caliber, extensive knowledge and strong adaptability.  Our major offers two specialities now.
1.Bioengineering(Fermentation Engineering)
Training Objectives
    Bring up the advanced applied technical talents who can master the basic principles and application of bio-engineering, highlight the competence of Fermentation and Enzyme Engineering in the light food, and engage in processing and new product development.

2.Bioengineering(Biopharmaceutical)
